Why Work with Us?
How do you make the decision about where to work? It may be limited by opportunities, location, schedules.. but culture has to be a central part of the decision-making process.
For me, culture is everything. As humans we crave safety, security, connection and a sense of belonging. Given that we spend a sadly ridiculous amount of our time at work, it’s so important it is a space where we feel valued, seen and heard.
It helps that in our career, we are largely values-driven individuals, and have chosen our profession in order to help and make a positive difference in the lives of others. This allows the opportunity for a rewarding and challenging journey filled with meaning and purpose.
I aim to build a community within our practice, so that individual clinicians feel supported, empowered and valued. I am invested in the wellbeing and professional development of our team members, and also strive to cultivate moments of humour and joy. A day without laughing is a rough day.
I have over 10 years of clinical experience, and have been a Board-Approved Supervision for 5 years. I have availability (and enthusiasm) to be a primary supervisor for Registrars (which is included in the position).
And then there is cozzie livs – so it helps to be rewarded handsomely for the time that you do get off the couch for.
